Notes to a Sinner

A few months ago I had the opportunity to go to the beach alone. It didn't start that way but unfortunately the combination of my lateness and friends leaving early lead to just that. I decided to take use of circumstance and sat down on the beach and wrote. The following is what went down on paper.

Notes to a Sinner

Decide on what you believe in. Living in limbo causes confusion, lack of determination, and lets just face it, sitting on a fence is painful.

If you think you believe in something, pursue it until you know.

Live a life your mother and father would be proud of. Sure they have their quirks, assumptions and expectations but they are also the people that love you unconditionally and urn for your happiness.

No matter how free a spirit you think you are, a little bit of scheduling will work to your benefit. Fitting life into a framework will add a nice new look to things.

Don't Ever think that you are too far gone. A ship sailing across the ocean will see nothing for weeks, but as long as there is navigation and movement, that ship will find another shore.

When hopelessness seizes you, cry on a shoulder. There are people that care about you. Seek them out.
